Who We Are

Jesus Caritas is a community of lay women and men who embrace the spirituality of Charles de Foucauld. Brother Charles lived a life of Gospel simplicity and ardent love among the poorest and most neglected tribes of the Sahara. His life became a continuous effort to live completely for God and to become a brother to all. We are men and women from all vocations and walks of life who commit to daily prayer, service to the poor, and who join together once a month for prayer and mutual support.
