As Small Faith Communities WE  Invite you to meet and share with Marianne Bonzelet

WE CRY THE GOSPEL WITH OUR LIVES

Talk and Discussion with Marianne Bonzelet –International Leader

of a world-wide movement of lay Small Faith Communities

the Fraternities of Brother Charles de Foucauld

Friday June 15, 2007 at St. Malachi Church (West 25th and Detroit in Cleveland) 7 to 9 PM

Marianne Bonzelet was the International Responsible for the International Association of Lay Fraternities of Brother Charles de Foucauld from 2000 to August 2006. After presiding over the Associations Assembly in Arusha Tanzania at the end of July 2006 she went to Montreal for a year of study [at the Institute for Integral Human Formation] with the Little Sisters of Jesus, another part of the family of groups living the charism of Brother Charles (1858-1916). Before returning to her home and teaching in Germany she will visit Lay Fraternities of Brother Charles in three U.S. cities starting with Cleveland

There are Lay Fraternities (Small Faith Communities) in 49 countries and Marianne Bonzelet brings with her a wealth of knowledge about how the laity in these communities use the spirituality of Brother Charles for their own formation and as a call to live with the marginal and poor.

Christian laity are to witness the word of God in their family, work and community. Facing many challenges to this calling lay people are refining the Small Faith Community and learning the elements that keep them faithful in crying the Gospel with their lives.

In Cleveland the Fraternity is called the Jesus Caritas Lay Community*. It is part of the Little Brothers and Sisters of the Eucharist* (LBSE) and meets there monthly on East 35th Street. For more information call Fr. Jim O’Donnell (LBSE) 216.566.0531 or Jim Pelikan Jesus Caritas Lay Community 216.671.8883 or pelikan@communitydialogue.com

Come and listen to what the world wide movement of Blessed Charles has learned. Come and share what you are learning in your own Small Faith Community lives. This event is designed for us to learn together
